Through [Jesus Christ] then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.

Hebrews 13:15

We gather every Sunday, on the Lord’s Day, as a local body of Christ to worship God in his infinite worth, glory, character, and love. We see the Lord’s Day as the most important day of the week and thus focus our worship upon God.

What to Expect
______

The content of the gospel shapes our services. Each week, in corporate worship, we celebrate the gospel of Jesus Christ with the Scriptural understanding that: 1) God is holy, 2) We are sinful, 3) Jesus saves, and 4) Jesus sends.

Through the reading of the Word, praying from the Word, singing the Word, and preaching the Word, we rehearse this gospel and confess the supreme worth of Jesus Christ.

Order of Worship is available here.

Children’s Discipleship and Nursery (birth–age 5) is available during the service. We encourage children age 6 and older to attend worship services with their parents.

The Lord’s Supper

Common Questions and Answers

The service lasts around 1.5 hours. Our desire is to give great praise and honor to our God through Christ. We sing together, hear the Word read and preached, led in prayer, and normally have a responsive reading – you are welcome and encouraged to stay after to meet the members of Redeemer.

The sermons last around 35-45 minutes. We preach through the Bible. We believe that God speaks through his Word, and we are eager to hear it. Each sermon strives to faithfully explain what a passage of the Bible means, what it’s saying about God, and how he wants it applied to our everyday lives.

Our music is varied including both hymns and contemporary songs. The priority for us is not style or genre, but biblical content, theological accuracy, and congregational accessibility. We tend to emphasize hearing the congregation sing together.

Some people wear whatever they would wear to hang out with family and friends, while others like to dress up a bit more. We invite you to come as you are, dressed as you like.

We are Baptists who teach, delight in, and share the whole counsel of God. We exist for the glory of God and trust wholly in his sovereign grace in all things. Everything we are and do strives to bring him glory and proclaim his supreme worth. Learn more about our Vision and Values and our Beliefs.

We delight in having children in the worship service. Since parents are the primary teachers of their children, we encourage children age 6 and older to attend worship services with their parents. There is Children’s Discipleship and Nursery (birth-age 5) available during the service.
